Shipping policy

CHRISTMAS ORDERING DATES:

Rural or South Island addresses- order before midnight Thursday 11th December
Residential or Commercial addresses - order before midnight Sunday 14th December
Pick Up at the Zoo Shop - order before midnight Monday 22nd December


DOMESTIC SHIPPING

Once your online order has been processed and sent, we will send you an email with a tracking number so you can monitor your parcel’s journey. Processing times are subject to product availability and we will advise you by email if there is an expected delay. Orders are sent Monday-Friday, excluding Public Holidays.

For orders shipped within Auckland and the North Island, please allow 2-3 business days for delivery. For orders delivering to rural addresses and the South Island, please allow an extra business day for delivery. Public holidays may delay delivery of orders.

All orders are sent with NZ Couriers or NZ Post. Delivery is available to physical addresses only, excluding PO Box and Private Bag addresses. Goods sent by courier are insured up to the value of $2,000.

 

PICK UP

If you have selected to pick up from our Zoo Shop, your order should be available for collection within 24 hours, subject to processing time and product availability. We will advise you by email if there is an expected delay. Once your order has been processed you will receive an email to advise your order is ready to pick up.

Collection of online orders is available during Auckland Zoo opening hours only. When arriving at the Zoo Shop for pick up, please ensure you bring your order number (on your phone or printed) and valid photo ID. Please also bring your own reusable bags to collect your order.

If you are unable to collect your order yourself please let us know by emailing shop@aucklandzoo.co.nz to advise who will be collecting on your behalf. They will need to provide valid photo ID to collect the order.

Orders are held for 14 days after the collection notification email was sent, before the order is cancelled and refunded.
