The biography of one of New Zealand’s greatest naturalist artists George Hudson (1867-1946), written by his own grandson Dr George Gibbs, who himself is a prominent entomologist.
Hudson dedicated his life to collecting and describing New Zealand insects, wrote several books on the subject, created pages of beautiful illustrations and gathered one of the largest collections of New Zealand insects, which is now housed at The Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
